Offering a comprehensive set of services ranging from Executive Advisory Services to support strategy development and portfolio planning, to hands-on development of specific partnerships, I can help you to achieve your own alliance planning and development objectives, maximizing the return you reap from these relationships while minimizing your risks and resource commitments.
EXECUTIVE ADVISORY SERVICES
For a monthly flat fee ranging from $2,000 to $3,000 (depending on scope), I will spend an hour per week on the phone (plus appropriate prep & followup work) with your CEO or other relevant executive, helping to craft an overall alliance strategy, formulate appropriate alliance portfolio targets, and respond to market opportunities as they arise. Executive Advisory Services provides you with proven top-tier strategic alliance expertise without large budget or time commitments, and allows you to move rapidly forward with your alliance strategy without adding staff before your alliances have matured.
TARGET ALLIANCE DEVELOPMENT
For an hourly rate of $250 (with discounts available based on the size of the project), Target Alliance Development provides you with phased execution of a jointly formulated plan to penetrate a specific target partner and ramp the business. We’ll work together to determine the scope of work that I will address based on the desired pace of development and amount of internal resources you are able to assign to the project. At the conclusion of each phase you'll have an opportunity to adjust the plan and make a go/no go decision to proceed to the next phase based on what we have learned.
The assumption underlying the Target Alliance Development service is, once the alliance is airborne and generating revenue, you will transfer the responsibility to a lower-cost internal staff member to provide day-to-day alliance management.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
Although you are free at any time to select the service that is best suited to your current needs, these two offerings are intended to work in tandem – our Executive Advisory Services will reveal high-potential partnerships that you may choose to pursue under a Target Alliance Development engagement, and intel that we pick up during Target Alliance Development regarding partner roadmaps, competitors, fellow portfolio members, and adjacent market segments can reveal additional opportunities that feed back into Executive Advisory Services.
